Protein drinks are ready to drink (RTD) protein shakes. This means they come pre-mixed in a bottle or carton and can be consumed straight away like any other off the shelf sports drink. However, unlike most off the shelf sports drinks RTD protein drinks contain much more useful nutrients and will give you a good amount of protein. Great for those of us who lead a busy lifestyle and don’t want to carry around a tub of whey protein powder along with a shaker.

Just like the protein shakes you make at home these RTD shakes will provide you with quality protein derived from powdered whey. Get all the quality nutrients of a protein shake but without the hassle.

Some of the more popular protein drinks are from my protein, their incredible protein water has proven to be a massive hit and each bottle provides you with a whopping 40g of protein. Due to the way the protein is mixed with the water there is absolutely no fat or sugars used and each drink only contains 174 calories, all from protein.

Next is a supplement called Promilk which has slightly lower protein content at 38 grams but this is still a huge amount. Promilk is better if your goal is to gain mass as it packs 250 calories and almost 20 g of carbohydrates per drink.
